Metallized Polyphenylene Sulfide

980D Series Film Capacitors

High Current/High Frequency

The rugged 980D Metallized Polypropylene Capacitors offer high frequency operation, high current and low ESR in a miniature package. Able to handle high surge currents without degrading, it’s an excellent replacement for an electrolytic capacitor. Designed for AC and pulsing applications, it’s ideal for audio systems, electric vehicle circuitry, high-powered inverter applications, avionics, and solar- and wind-power generation. The 980D series is proudly made in the U.S. with proprietary techniques in a wide variety of sizes and configurations.
